Reminder: CCCIP Award for Collaborative Excellence

Nominations are still being accepted for the 2016 Collaborative Excellence Award. This award recognizes and celebrates the value and power of collaboration as the keystone of effective injury prevention and safety promotion practice in Canada.

Survey on Crisis, Suicide Prevention, and Personal Support Lines

One of the Safe Communities in BC has asked for assistance spreading the distribution of this survey out across the country.  Please circulate to your networks if possible:  Access to Crisis Lines Survey

The Richmond Family Violence Prevention Network, a coalition of agencies that have an interest and/or mandate to prevent relational violence, and the Public Interest Advocacy Centre are gathering information about calls to crisis, suicide prevention and personal support lines for research and to advocate for access to these services across Canada.

This survey is open to response from across Canada.

Save the Date - 6th Global Forum on Health Promotion Event

The Global Forum on Health Promotion will be held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada from October 16-17, 2016. The theme for the event will be Health Promotion ~ At the Very Heart of Sustainability, and it will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Ottawa Charter. The forum is a collaborative event organized by the Alliance for Health Promotion, Groupe entreprises en santé, PEI Department of Health and Wellness, and The Quaich Inc.
