Date: Wednesday, February 26, 2025
Time: noon to 1 p.m. EST
Register: https://parachute.ca/PoisoningWebinar
Join us on February 26 at noon EST for a live Q & A with experts in clinical toxicology and biochemistry. Bring all your questions about clinical toxicology and get ready to connect with and learn from experts from within the Toxicovigilance Canada Network. Wondering how novel substances are detected? How toxicologists work with other stakeholders to influence public health action? This is the opportunity to ask the experts what you’ve always wanted to know!
Toxicovigilance is the active and highly collaborative process of identifying and assessing the risks of poisoning in a community and proposing and evaluating measures to mitigate risks. During this discussion, clinical toxicology and biochemistry experts will talk about what is it they do and how their work contributes to toxicovigilance.
This Q & A is organized by Parachute in collaboration with the Canadian Association for Poison Centres and Clinical Toxicology and the Toxicovigilance Canada Public Outreach and Communications Working Group.
Please note this session will not be recorded; a summarizing report will be shared with registrants after the event.
